Co-founder & CEO
Mike brings over 15 years of experience solving challenging data networking and security problems for enterprises and service providers. It is this experience along with his passion for creating innovative new products that led him to co-found NetCitadel to change the way enterprises think about their network security.
Prior to co-founding NetCitadel, Mike held a variety of leadership positions in product management, engineering, and operations at companies including Vidder, Avistar, Level 3 and Virtela Communications. Mike also spent several years consulting for companies ranging from early stage startups to Fortune 500 technology companies on product strategy.
Co-founder & CTO
Known as a visionary technologist, Theron has over 20 years of security and application development experience and has been awarded over 25 patents in the fields of networking and security.
Prior to co-founding NetCitadel, Theron was the co-founder and CTO at Neoteris, a pioneer in the SSL VPN appliance market, which was acquired by Netscreen and subsequently Juniper. The SSL VPN products Theron helped create remain a category leader today. Before co-founding Neoteris, Theron was the Chief Engineer at Healtheon/WebMD responsible for security infrastructure of the transaction processing platform.
Vice President of Marketing
With over 15 years of experience and a reputation for bringing innovative products to market, Anthony joined us as our VP of Marketing. He leads both technical and marketing teams covering the networking, cloud and security markets.
As Vice President of Product Management for FireEye, Anthony was responsible for product strategies that produced explosive growth results and helped define a new market category. While at Fortinet, he steered product and marketing teams through a successful IPO. Following Fortinet, Anthony was responsible for introducing a new cloud business for Blue Coat, which helped lead to the company to a prosperous sale.
Vice President of Sales
Neil is our VP of worldwide sales and brings over 18 years of experience in building and leading high performing sales teams in the cloud, data center and security infrastructure markets.
Prior to joining NetCitadel, Neil led sales and technical sales teams at CA/Wily Technology, Precise Software, Brio Technology (now Oracle), and Informix Software (now IBM). Most recently, Neil led the cloud security sales efforts at Juniper Networks. Neil joined Juniper in 2010 following the $105M acquisition of Altor Networks where he was vice president of worldwide sales.
Vice President of Engineering
Mike has over 15 years of experience working in, building and leading world-class engineering teams creating visionary new products for enterprises and consumers.
Prior to joining NetCitadel, Mike spent 11 years at VMware, helping to grow the company from a startup with 80 engineers and one product to an 18,000 person company delivering dozens of products to millions of enterprise, SMB and consumer users.
Co-founder & Chief Engineer
With over 20 years experience, Vadim brings deep operational experience in networking and security to the NetCitadel team.
Prior to co-founding NetCitadel, Vadim most recently spent over 7 years at Google in their network operations group where he was the founding member of the network tools team. At Google, Vadim was responsible for developing network automation and monitoring applications to help manage Google’s rapidly growing network. Before joining Google, Vadim worked in the network operations team at Healtheon/WebMD where his responsibilities included firewall management. Vadim is also the original founding developer of the open source Firewall Builder project.
